Easy Zipper Pouch

Materials Needed:

• 2 main fabric pieces 7x9 inches
• 2 lining fabric pieces 7x9 inches
• 2 interfacing pieces 7x9 inches
• 9 inch (or longer) zipper
• Iron
• Pins
• Scissors or rotary cutter
• Sewing machine

Step 1: IRON Main & lining pieces

Step 2: On wrong side of the main fabric, iron on interfacing (both main pieces)

Step 3: Place the main fabric right side up and put the zipper right side down on the main fabric. Place lining fabric-right side down- on top of the zipper (main fabric, zipper, lining fabric sandwhich) PIN/sew

Step 4: Take the second main fabric (right side up) Match the right side of the zipper to the ride side of the main fabric. Lay the lining fabric right side down on the zipper. PIN/Sew

Step 5: Open up and iron

Step 6: Top stitch near the zipper on both sides of zipper

Step 7: Open & match right sides together and lining together. / Sew all the way around leaving a gap in the lining fabric. Leave zipper open before sewing

Step 8: Turn right side out.

Step 9: Sew lining opening & put lining back in the bag & Done
